Nicole Eggleston D.V.M., C.V.A.

My full name is Nicole Dominique Eggleston. I resided from Aurora Colorado which is the home of the Rocky Mountains. Since the age of seven, I've had a passion to work with and care for animals. As the youngest of four children, I started my college education in Texas at Prairie View A&M University. There I graduated with honors in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture and Human Sciences. I continued furthering my education at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in Tuskegee, Alabama. After completing my veterinary education in 2006, I moved to Naples, Florida where I joined a mixed animal practice. I felt a desire to narrow my expertise to practice medicine only with small animals and pocket pets, after spending a year of practice with large, small, and exotic medicine. I was hired as lead doctor for Banfield the Pet Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. I obtained valuable experience in leading a veterinary hospital and training fellow associate doctors in hospital protocols, surgery, and general medicine. In addition, I was a mentor for veterinary students by mentoring them through clinical medicine and surgery. I relocated to the Orlando area and began my employment with Animal Hospital of Lake Mary and Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park in December 2009. I am interested in holistic medicine and have completed my certification in veterinary acupuncture in December 2010.

AJ

My name is AJ. I have always loved animals they have been in my life since as long as I can remember. I have an Italian Greyhound named Sushi that comes to work with me every day. I have rescued bats, squirrels, and a raccoon. The experiences I have at work every day prepare me for my true passion of wanting to work in agriculture with large animals. I play the accordion and I love the outdoors.

Carly

My name is Carly and I have been a Veterinary Technician here at the Animal Hospital of Lake Mary since 2006. Born and raised here in Central Florida, I have always had a passion for all types of animals and knew one day I would be working somewhere in the veterinary field. I currently live with my husband Craig and my daughter Kyla, who was born in September of 2010. We have two dogs in our family. Figment is the oldest born in mid 2005. He is an 11lb mini Schnauzer who needs extra special care because he is epileptic. Our newest edition, Diesel, is a rescue we brought into the family in May 2009. Poor thing was tied up to a dumpster behind a local Publix, so of course we had to give him a second chance! He is a 70lb Rott/Pitt mix who looks mean but is just a teddy bear. Ever since we brought home our daughter he thinks his main purpose is to protect her and give her tons of kisses. Animals are a part of the family, they are eager to please and make the best companions. I love to give back to them because no matter what, they are unconditionally there for you. And that is why I do what I do and couldn't be happier.

Chelsea

Hi! My name is Chelsea and I graduated from Florida State University in August 2010 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. I worked as a veterinary technician in Tallahassee for almost 2 years and started at Animal Hospital of Lake Mary in September 2010 (love it!). Now I'm in the process of determining what I want to study in graduate school. At the moment I'm juggling between the ideas of veterinary medicine or some kind of research, among other thinks. The only pet I currently have is a ball python named Marley, but I hope to adopt a puppy in the near future!

Dianne

My name is Dianne and I was born and raised in Deland, Florida. I have been with the Animal Hospital of Lake Mary since 2002. I have been in the veterinary field since 2000 and I've always loved working with animals. It's been my dream to help people care for their animals since I was very young. Animal Hospital of Lake Mary is a great place for me to be. Everyone here is like family. The doctors really care and love all of the animals that come to our hospital, and that makes it a great place to work. I have 4 dogs in my family. Wiser is an 8 year old Jack Russell that I adopted when he was 6 weeks old. He is my baby. Bud is my 7 year old American Bulldog, and Bubbie is a female Jack Russell. Last but not least is Speck, who is a 2 yr old Catahoula Cattle dog. Bubbie and Speck belong to my 14 and 15 year old sons. All of our dogs get along and love each other, but Wiser is the boss! I also have 2 bearded dragons, 2 snakes, 3 fish tanks and a cat named Oreo who found me after the hurricanes. I will continue working with animals for the rest of my life!

Holly

My name is Holly. I was born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut. In 1995 I moved to New Jersey and started my career as a veterinary receptionist in 1999 and have been a veterinary receptionist ever since. I moved to Florida in 2007, and currently reside in Altamonte Springs. I love animals and currently share my home with my fiance, and are the proud mommy of Maya, a Chihuahua mix and Missy, my loving cat. I enjoy spending time with my fiance and our "kids". I enjoy going to theme parks, watching movies, going to the beach and spending time with my family.

Ian

Hello My Name is Ian, I grew up around animals, and love being around them. I hope for a future with animals, when I graduate from school.

Jessica

My name is Jessica and I work at Animal Hospital of Lake Mary because I love working with animals. I have worked in the veterinary field for 6 years and I love it. There is nothing else I would rather do. I put so much effort into my work, all I care about is the animals getting the proper care and doing everything I can for them. I have a dog named Tank he is a Catahoula Leopard. I have Paco who is a Chiweenie and Peanut a Chihuahua. Daisy, Poobear and Duke are my three cats. Then I have Lucy my Cockatiel and Stewart my Gold Fish. I have rescued almost all of the animals I have and wouldn't have it any other way. I love animals and have grown up with them my entire life.

Sheryl

My name is Sheryl, I'm 25 and originally from England. I moved here with my family in 2004 and I absolutely love sunny Florida. I live with my Fiance Brian and we are getting married in Oct 2011. We have 7 fury babies who I love to death, Onyxia, Tuffy, Roz, Goblin, Egwene, Ivy and Noodle. I always say a house isn't a home unless there is a cat in your lap. I worked in the airline industry for 4 years, it was fun but my true passion is to work with animals. Here at Animal Hospital of Lake Mary I have found not just the perfect place to do what I love the most, but also co-workers who share my passion. We are a close family here and truly care for the babies that come in value our clients. I love the bond I share with pets and their parents and wouldn't change it for the world.
