Central Florida is a mixture of subtropical and temperate climates. Our unique position on the map allows huge African dust storms to fill our skies with African dust during the hurricane season. There are also five known major pollen peaks in our area. Needless to say, despite what everybody else says, we probably are the allergy capital of the world.
